MPs debate motion seeking to improve officers’pay, welfare

Members of the national assembly have underscored the need to  allocate funds  to cater for the provision of salary incentives and adequate decent housing for police officers. The MPs say the officers are subjected to harsh living conditions thereby denying then the right environment to  discharge their duties effectively. This as the Interior cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i assured the police that the government will address  concerns raised regarding police paycuts and poor working conditions.
